Mullingar Pewter was started in 1974 in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. The son of the original owner now operates the company, employing thirty people from the local area. Mullingar Pewter prides themselves in being the only pewter production workshop left in the country. In fact, most of the pieces are still made in the traditional way by specially trained people, with skills take years to acquire and fine tune. All designs are inspired by Celtic images and symbols. These designs are then put onto a wide variety of drinkware, wall art, and etc.
