Dubarry of Ireland

Dubarry of Ireland was founded in 1937 to create jobs in a small town of Galway, Ireland. The Chamber of Commerce partnered with a family originally from Northampton to accomplish this feat. Dubarry of Ireland acquired its name from a French courtesan and mistress of Louis XV, Madame du Barry. The brand quickly stood apart from other Irish brands through their craftsmanship and manufacturing of fine leather shoes with European flair. Dubarry started producing moccasin deck shoes. Today the company has an expansive catalogue, featuring clothing and of course a wide variety of footwear.
