Parking Information

Bethlehem is essentially a city with two downtowns – Historic Downtown and South Side – and parking is different for each section. What both areas have in common ARE PLENTY of metered spaces. Metered parking costs $1.00 per hour, payable by credit card/debit card, coins, or the new parking app, MobileNow!

Parking Garages
Historic Downtown Bethlehem is served by two city garages, one at 75 W. North St., and the other 33 W. Walnut St., which combined offer more than 1,500 parking spots. Both garages are a part of the city’s Park and Shop program, where participating downtown merchants will validate parking stubs — though sometimes a purchase is required. Look for the Park and Shop logo to see if a particular store participates.

• The closest parking garage to Donegal Square is the Walnut Street Parking Garage.

Bethlehem Valet Parking
The Bethlehem Parking Authority offers a Main Street valet service on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights. The service is $5, plus $1 per hour.

How it works: Pull up to one of the marked valet podiums, and receive a claim ticket from one of the red-jacketed valet employees. When you are ready to retrieve your car, just follow the instructions on the valet claim ticket. It’s as easy as sending a text. Valet service can be paid by any major credit card or through PayPal directly through your phone. The valet service sends you a link when you text for your car. The valet team will notify you when your car is ready through an automated text message generated by Flash Valet.
